Eye Opener!

Bill Saddoth research is a clear and informative. I have lots of friend that have "inked" their bodies and I am able to see the stronghold formed. I felt the need to learn what this is all about. I was amazed and my eye opened to see the strategy of the enemy toward our society.

Informative but missing the most important part

A quick read. Very interesting. I appreciate the valuable research and compilation of materials. At the end I found like there was a big hole where something is missing. The author did not provide an example prayer for those who have a tattoo or piercing who would like to pray over their tattoo & close any spiritual doors that may have been opened when they got the tattoo. He was so thorough in other aspects that I was surprised. I would have assigned 5 stars has this been done. I hope he does a follow up addendum that includes it. Also I went to his website & the info was not there.

Belting, a professor of art history at the University of Munich who has authored several books on art history (e.g., Image & Its Public in the Middle Ages, Caratzas, 1989), focuses not on the art but the application and interpretation of the icon, offering a detailed examination of its use in early Christianity. The scholarship is excellent, but the book is not for the casual reader. The writing is complicated and difficult to follow, with an in-depth understanding of early Christian history assumed. The notes and appendix include pertinent quotes from medieval theologians. Recommended only for large academic libraries or special collections. It does not happen very often that the lines of history are redrawn. Belting has done just this, not only about the past, but by very strong implication, about what is happening today. Is our current a-intentionalism a gateway into a new era of idolatry?

About the Author

Donita D’Amico, MEd, RN
Donita D’Amico, a diploma nursing school graduate, earned her baccalaureate degree in Nursing from William Paterson College. She earned a master’s degree in Nursing Education at Teachers College, Columbia University, with a specialization in Adult Health. Ms. D’Amico has been a faculty member at William Paterson University for more than 30 years. Her teaching responsibilities include physical assessment, medical-surgical nursing, nursing theory, and fundamentals in the classroom, skills laboratory, and clinical settings.

Ms. D’Amico coauthored several textbooks, including Health Assessment in Nursing and its companion clinical handbook by Sims, D’Amico, Stiesmeyer, and Webster; as well as Comprehensive Health Assessment: A Student Workbook and Modules for Medication Administration with Dr. Colleen Barbarito.

Ms. D’Amico is active in the community. Within the university, she is a charter member of the Iota Alpha Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International. She also serves as a consultant and contributor to local organizations.

Colleen Barbarito, EdD, RN
Colleen Barbarito received a nursing diploma from Orange Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, graduated with a baccalaureate degree from William Paterson College, and earned a master’s degree from Seton Hall University, all in New Jersey. She received her Doctor of Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. Prior to a position in education, Dr. Barbarito’s clinical experiences included medical-surgical, critical care, and emergency nursing. Dr. Barbarito has been a faculty member at William Paterson University since 1984, where she has taught Physical Assessment and a variety of clinical laboratory courses for undergraduate nursing students and curriculum development at the graduate level.

Dr. Barbarito coauthored two books with Donita D’Amico–Modules for Medication Administration and Comprehensive Health Assessment: A Student Workbook. She published articles on anaphylaxis in American Journal of Nursing and Coping with Allergies and Asthma. Her research includes physical assessment and collaboration on revising a physical assessment project with results published as a brief in Nurse Educator. As a faculty member, Dr. Barbarito participated in committees to explore curricular change and to develop multimedia-learning modules for critical thinking.

Dr. Barbarito is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the National League for Nursing.

I really liked the way that the book is organized

This was a very helpful book for assessments. It tells you exactly what to do and is a very visual book. There are many pictures to help with the correct placements for the assessments and it even tells you which findings are normal and which are not. I really liked the way that the book is organized. Complete system assessments make up a chapter such as " cardiac, gastrointestinal..ect" the book even includes questions as the end of the chapters to help evolve your critical thinking. I needed this book for class but I am keeping it even after ad a reference to look back on.

This was a required book for one of my nursing classes and I enjoyed reading it. It is clearly written, and I had no issues understanding the material. Amazon is a great resource for getting your books at a reasonable price. It was delivered quickly and packaged securely.

My nursing lab

BEWARE! I purchased my book new from amazon and it arrived in perfect condition shrink wrapped with access code. However when I tried to use the code, it would not allow me to register the book. When I contacted Pearson about why it would not work, they told me they do not guarantee any access codes purchased from third parties. (only from your bookstore or through their website.) therefore i ended up buying a new book for an access code I cannot use. I HATE PEARSON BOOKS. There customer service is awful and their products are not guaranteed. Good luck if you have to utilize the access code.

As an electromchanical inspector, i have to deal with HVAC drawings and follow the installation activities in retail spaces. Because of that, commonly i am checking designs verifying if somethings can be improved and so the ASHRAE POCKET GUIDE comes to help. It have lot and updated information unvalluable for me and my partners. i strongly recommend the purchase of this book to everyone perhaps the letter size is a bit small. Its a very helpful tool. It also works as an educational complement.

Great book, not useful on my Thermal PE Exam

As the title states, it was very helpful for the HVAC problems of my PPI Professional Engineer review course. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it...), I didn't use this book at all during my PE exam, as the Thermal Fluid Systems exam was composed of almost 50% Q-dot heat transfer questions.

A world I hope I never see but it was scary and great to read!

The Theta Patient by Chris Dietzel is a terrifying short story of world of Tyranny. Believe me, this world was named right. The story is of a doctor that is brought three new patients and he must decide which of them is against the government. It is a suspense filled, nail-biter, short story with surprises and twists and a possible future that I hope never happens but similar to what might have happened during the Nazi reign. Great job, scary and full of twists. Loved it.

A disturbingly active Big Brother is the Tyranny, not satisfied with just watching. This rather chilling and well written tale from the Theta world has piqued my interest and the two novels set in this most disquieting place are now on my download list.
It has, however, prompted a touch of paranoia and I find myself eyeing the ubiquitous security cameras with just a little suspicion.
Highly recommended.
